Paul Pillot Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru "Les Champs Gain" 2018 (750ml)

One of the finest talents in Burgundy: Thierry Pillot is instrumental to ascending the domaine to its fame today. Thierry is not only meticulous in the vineyard but also in the cellar: most wines spent 2 winters for elevage in the cellar and small new barrels are hardly used for any cuvees other than Bourgogne. 

Champs Gain is one of Pillot's Chassagne cuvee that can be enjoyed relatively early. It is known for a warmer microclimate leading to fleshy white wines with moderate depth.
