Cote de Nuits Villages

A special designation in the Cote d'Or are the Cote de Nuits Villages and Cote de Beaune Villages. While technically a village designation (instead of Bourgogne Regional), it nonetheless represents multiple different communes within the Cote d'Or, which can be blended and bottled under the village designation without declassification.

In Cote de Nuits Villages, the appellation is predominately red and covers the communes of Brochon, Comblanchien, Corgoloin, Fixin and Premeaux. Jean-Marc Millot makes a delicate "Aux Faulques", with the vines coming the village of Comblanchien.
